Merging a new brand identity with an existing site

A few years after launching Road Safety at Work’s (RSAW) site, we merged their new brand guidelines with their existing website, ensuring it reflected their evolving identity while maintaining functionality. The project streamlined RSAW’s digital presence by integrating their updated branding into a cohesive, responsive design that still supported their seasonal campaigns like Shift into Winter and Cone Zone.

To kick off, we presented RSAW with several design directions to help them visualize how a refreshed look could boost engagement. After selecting their preferred option, we focused on brightening the site’s colors, updating fonts, and refreshing UI elements to create a friendlier and more approachable feel.

On the homepage, we transformed the hero carousel with bold visuals and dynamic graphics to highlight RSAW’s key messages. We also unified campaign pages, ensuring they aligned with the new brand identity. Additionally, we restructured the road safety check forms for better usability by organizing information intuitively and enhancing readability with larger fonts and clear focus states, making it easier for users to complete forms and access vital resources.

The Result

A fresh look and enhanced usability

The updated RSAW site delivered an inviting appearance that merged the new brand identity with user-friendly improvements. Campaigns felt integrated into RSAW’s mission, while enhanced UI and simplified navigation created a smoother experience for users. The redesign successfully balanced accessibility with a serious mission, making RSAW’s digital presence more effective and engaging for a broad audience.
